More than a decade ago, CHI saw a growing problem in Chattanooga—clean, trustworthy food was becoming harder to find. From lab-grown meat to low-grade imports, our food supply was shifting in alarming ways. CHI knew something had to change.

That’s why he created CHI Markets—to reconnect communities with real, local food from trusted sources. Backed by over 40 years of experience in local food systems and inspired by his loyal dog Chi, we built a network of farmers and makers working together to bring fresh, affordable produce, meats, and pantry staples directly to your door.

At CHI, we believe everyone deserves access to food they can trust—and we're here to make that possible for generations to come.
