Through our CHI Markets grocery store, individual donations, and partnerships with local organizations, we bring organic, fresh, locally grown produce, fresh local eggs, locally raised meats and organic dairy right to your neighborhood—making abundance accessible to all.

Community Helps Itself is a Chattanooga-based 501(c)(3) whose mission is to create a more connected, equitable, and self-reliant community. At CHI, we believe strong communities are built by working together. We support local makers, service providers, and neighbors by creating a sustainable network, rooted in shared resources and mutual support. Think of it like a CSA that gives back to the local community with our 'Fill The Fridge' program and other donations.

Since 2012, CHI has donated over 140,000 lbs of food and, in just the last two years, has helped feed 2,500+ families in need through generous community partnerships. Whether you're a conscious consumer or a small-batch maker, CHI Markets brings the farmers market to you—and we’re always looking for new local vendors to join us.
